Hi, I'm Hannah!
I'm a graphic designer, creative thinker and problem solver based in Hervey Bay, Queensland.
I've been designing for more than 22 years, working with businesses of all shapes and sizes to help them communicate what they do and why it matters.
But there's more to what I do than sitting behind a computer making things look pretty. I genuinely enjoy getting to know the people behind a business, asking questions, solving problems and finding the right way to bring an idea to life.
22+ years of designing, learning & evolving
When I started in graphic design, the industry looked very different to how it does today.
I learnt pretty quickly that you couldn't stand still. The technology changed, the way businesses marketed themselves changed, and the things clients needed from a designer changed too.
So over the years, I've learnt, adapted and grown with it. Some things I've picked up through experience, some through working alongside other talented people, and plenty simply by doing the work and learning along the way.
One thing that has stayed the same is how much I care about getting it right.
HOW I WORK WITH YOUR BUSINESS
Because I know your business isn't just another project.
It's something you've worked hard to build. It's your livelihood, your reputation, and sometimes, quite literally, your baby.
That's why I don't take the responsibility of representing it lightly. I might not always have the answer immediately, but I'll take the time to understand the problem, think it through and make a considered recommendation based on what I believe will work best for your business.
WHEN I'M NOT DESIGNING...
I'm usually running, being a Mum Taxi or spending time with family, or walking our dog Millie.
I spend a fair bit of time running and chasing sunrises, usually at party pace. Running has become my happy place, my headspace and a regular reminder that I can do hard things.
We're also a parkrun family — with 497+ runs and 35 volunteer credits between us. We run, we volunteer, and we're just as happy cheering on someone else as we are crossing the finish line ourselves.
It might sound like I run a lot, but considering how much I love sugar, I probably need to run more.
And that's me. Designer, strategist, runner, Mum Taxi, sugar enthusiast… and occasionally the person trying to keep up with a dog who thinks she's a greyhound.
